Daily Dump

January 1, 2010

Daily Dump is a personal/household composting system that has the potential to make a big dent in the amount of biodegradable garbage we consign to our landfills. Part of a brand called Playnspeak, Daily Dump has created a range of easy-to-use, easy-to-make modular composting products. The entire range of products can be found here: http://www.dailydump.org/products

In Pune, Firdosh Roowala is acting as a distributor (rather, “clone“) for Daily Dump. He has been kind enough to give us a khamba set free of charge, as a sample. Currently, we are trying out the set for ourselves, while looking out for potters from rural areas to start making these pots. If taken to potential, this idea can go a long way in reducing our garbage woes.

We have just started experimenting with paddy straw. More updates soon.
