Drip Irrigation System

“Drip irrigation is the frequent and slow  application  of water to the soil, near the root zone of the plants through mechanical devices called emitters that are located at selected points along water delivery lines.”

In India, Maharashtra is one of the pioneer states in propagating drip system.

Almost all grape plantation of the state is under drip while about 80% banana plantation is under this system.
